Job Responsibilities:
Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
Set up machines, workpieces, tools, fixtures, and offsets.
Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Load and unload components safely and accurately.
Set and adjust cutting tools, tool offsets, and machine parameters.
Monitor the machining process and maintain required production targets.
Inspect finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Identify machining defects and report machine/process issues to the supervisor.
Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
Follow production, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
Fresher and Experience as a VMC Operator is preferred.
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and basic machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions/tolerances.
Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and basic machine parameters.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Good attention to quality and measurements.
