SPECIAL EDUCATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:
Support students with special educational needs and learning difficulties.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Use inclusive teaching methods and individualized learning strategies.
Assess students’ progress and maintain academic records.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school counsellors.
Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Create a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning workplace.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
Valid RCI registration, where applicable.
Relevant teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of inclusive education practices.

Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
Knowledge of special education teaching methods and IEPs.
Classroom management and student assessment skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with parents and teachers.
Solid problem-solving and observation skills.
Ability to support students with diverse learning needs.
