To ensure timely, protected, and accurate delivery of restaurant food orders to customers while maintaining excellent customer service and food hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver food orders to customers on time and at the correct location.
Verify order details, customer address, and payment method before dispatch.
Handle food packages carefully to maintain quality and prevent spillage.
Maintain skilled and polite communication with customers.
Collect cash or verify digital payments, as applicable.
Coordinate with restaurant staff regarding order status, delays, and customer requests.
Follow traffic rules and maintain safe riding practices.
Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition.
Report customer complaints, incorrect orders, and delivery issues to the restaurant manager.
Maintain daily delivery records and submit cash collections as per company procedure.
Follow restaurant policies, grooming standards, and hygiene requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.
Valid two-wheeler driving licence, if using a bike for delivery.
Knowledge of local routes and locations.
Basic communication skills in Tamil; English is an advantage.
Smartphone and Google Maps knowledge preferred.
Previous restaurant or delivery experience is an advantage.
