Job Title: Senior Accountant Fintech / Digital Payments

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, bank reconciliation and transaction reconciliation across our fintech payment services.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the company.
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, vouchers and supporting documents.
Handle bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation and payment reconciliation.
Manage reconciliation of DMT, AEPS, BBPS, Recharge, Travel, Payment Gateway and Payout transactions.
Monitor merchant, distributor, vendor and partner settlements.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial and MIS reports.
Track receivables, payables, commissions, expenses and settlements.
Verify invoices, debit/credit notes and vendor bills.
Manage GST-related accounting, reconciliation and documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and financial partners.
Assist in preparation of GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
Maintain proper records for audits and regulatory requirements.
Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments and vendor/partner balances.




Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate with the operations/technology team for resolution.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare management reports related to revenue, expenses, settlements and profitability.
Ensure proper accounting treatment of fintech transactions and settlement flows.
Maintain strong internal controls and financial documentation.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Accounting & Finance.
Hands-on experience in Fintech / Payment Gateway / Digital Payments / Banking / NBFC / Financial Services.
Valuable understanding of merchant settlement and transaction reconciliation.
Experience with GST, TDS and statutory accounting.
Solid knowledge of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and reconciliation tools.
Experience with Tally / ERP / Accounting Software.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple financial transactions and deadlines.
