Role Description The Purchaser will manage day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing ingredients, supplies, and equipment needed for events. This full time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves negotiating with vendors, obtaining quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods within budget and quality standards. The Purchaser will maintain accurate purchase records, track inventory levels, and coordinate closely with kitchen, operations, and event planning teams to forecast requirements. Responsibilities also include evaluating supplier performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting compliance with food safety and quality guidelines.





Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in food & beverage, catering, hospitality, or related industries.

Ability to track inventory, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation using spreadsheets or procurement tools.

Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to assess product standards and ensure consistency for event requirements.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with culinary, operations, and event teams in a fast-paced workplace.

Basic understanding of food safety, storage requirements, and logistical considerations for perishable items.

Comfort with numbers and budgeting, including cost analysis and reporting on purchasing activities.

Prior experience in catering or event management settings is an advantage.

Diploma or degree in supply chain, hospitality, commerce, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
