Job Description Chartered Accountant
Designation: Chartered Accountant Accounts, Taxation & Compliance

Reporting To: Head Accounts & Finance
Key Responsibilities
•

Manage and review project-wise accounting, financial reporting, revenue
recognition, project costs and profitability for real estate projects.
Oversee GST compliance, including GST returns, ITC reconciliation, RCM,
invoicing and GST implications of property sales, JDAs and construction-related
transactions.

Handle Income Tax and TDS compliances, including tax provisions, advance tax,
returns, assessments and tax-related matters.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, internal auditors and external
tax consultants for audits, tax audit and other statutory compliances.
Manage RERA compliances, including project-wise financial data, RERA filings and
coordination for Form 3 and other applicable compliances.
Liaise and coordinate with Income Tax, GST and other tax
authorities/departments for notices, assessments,



submissions, hearings and
resolution of tax matters. This is must

Review the accounting and tax implications of real estate transactions, including
land purchases, development agreements, JDAs and revenue-sharing arrangements.
Ensure timely compliance with applicable Companies Act, GST, Income Tax,
RERA and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review MIS, project profitability, cash-flow statements and
management reports.
Keep management updated on changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements
affecting the business.
Qualification & Experience
•
•
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 810 years of post-qualification experience.
Relevant experience in real estate/construction accounting, GST, Income Tax,
RERA and audit coordination preferred.
•
Robust knowledge of Excel/ERP, taxation, project accounting and statutory
compliances.
