Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, prepare reports, and provide meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
Perform data cleaning, validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
Create and maintain Excel-based reports using advanced formulas and functions.
Work with VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, IF functions, and other advanced Excel features.
Write and execute SQL queries to extract, filter, join, and analyze data from databases.
Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis based on business requirements.
Document reporting processes and maintain proper data/reporting documentation.

Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel.

Data Validation and Data Cleaning
Good knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.
Knowledge of SQL queries such as SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, subqueries, etc.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Power BI data modeling.
Experience with ETL/data transformation processes.
Knowledge of Python for data analysis is an added advantage.
Experience working with large datasets is preferred.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, or Reporting.
