Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, GST compliance, reconciliations, and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts across our retail, wholesale, warehouse, and exhibition operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Handle sales, purchase, expense, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Manage and verify retail and wholesale sales transactions.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Handle GST-related accounting and compliance, including GSTR filings and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding payments and outstanding amounts.
- Track and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections.
- Maintain proper records of inventory-related transactions and coordinate with warehouse teams.
- Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, cash-flow statements, and other MIS reports.
- Verify expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are maintained.
- Handle TDS entries, payments, and returns as applicable.
- Support statutory audits and provide required financial documents.




- Ensure all accounting records are accurate and updated on time.
- Coordinate with management regarding financial reports and business performance.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Positive knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of bank reconciliation and ledger management.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, garment, FMCG, or exhibition businesses will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling high-volume retail/wholesale accounting will be preferred.
