We are looking for a qualified, passionate, and dedicated Sociology Teacher who can help students understand social structures, human behaviour, cultural diversity, and contemporary social issues through engaging and effective teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Sociology in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic standards.

Prepare lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assignments, and classroom activities.

Explain sociological concepts, social institutions, culture, socialisation, social change, and contemporary social issues.

Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and independent learning skills.

Connect sociological theories with real-life situations and current social developments.

Use interactive teaching methods, discussions, case studies, presentations, and project-based learning.

Conduct regular tests, assignments, and assessments to evaluate students’ academic progress.

Provide additional guidance and remedial support to students when required.

Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Maintain academic records and monitor students’ performance.

Participate in staff meetings, school events, academic workshops, and other institutional activities.

Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.

Eligibility Criteria

Postgraduate Degree in Sociology is mandatory.

B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.





All educational qualifications must have been completed through Regular / Full-Time mode of study.

Distance Education, Correspondence, and Online-mode qualifications will not be considered.

Prior teaching experience in a reputed CBSE or International School is required.

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of sociological theories, concepts, and contemporary social issues.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage students in meaningful discussions.

A genuine passion for teaching and student development.

Key Education Requirement

Candidates must have completed their required educational qualifications through Regular / Full-Time study mode. Candidates whose qualifications were obtained through distance education, correspondence, or online learning are not eligible for this position.

Applicants should be prepared to provide relevant educational certificates during the recruitment process.

Relocation Requirements

The position is based at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Qualified candidates from all over India are welcome to apply.

Applicants must be willing to relocate to Coimbatore for this full-time position.

Relocation willingness and joining availability will be discussed during the interview.

Long-Term Commitment

We are looking for candidates who are genuinely interested in building a long-term career with our school.

Selected candidates are expected to commit to working with the school for a minimum period of 3 years.

Salary & Employment Details

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time
