Job Summary

Shreepad Construction Company is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage the company's daily accounting operations, financial records, transactions, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting software, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain ledgers, journals, invoices, bills, and vouchers.
- Work on accounting software such as Tally Prime, Tally ERP, or similar tools.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements and verify financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer outstanding balances.
- Assist in GST calculations, return preparation, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
- Maintain records of company expenses, cash flow, petty cash,



and other financial activities.
- Assist in salary processing, employee reimbursement records, and expense verification, as required.
- Coordinate with the management, banks, vendors, and external Chartered Accountant for accounting-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure the confidentiality of company financial information.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: B.Com or M.Com in Commerce; relevant accounting qualifications will be an advantage.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel is preferred.
- Positive understanding of basic accounting principles, GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
- Honest, responsible, and professional approach to work.
- Experience in the real estate or construction industry will be an added advantage.
