JOB DESCRIPTION – SOLAR TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Solar Technician

Location: Karunagappally

The Solar Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar power systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and related electrical components.

Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of on-grid and off-grid solar systems.

Inspect and troubleshoot electrical connections, inverters, wiring, and solar panels.

Conduct site visits for technical inspections, service requests, and repairs.

Assist with solar system testing and performance monitoring.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Coordinate with the service team, engineers, and other departments to complete assigned work.

Maintain service reports,



installation records, and daily work updates.

Handle tools and equipment responsibly and maintain proper inventory of materials used.

Follow the work schedule and complete assigned tasks within the stipulated time.

Provide technical support and professional assistance to customers.

Perform other technical duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, solar panels, and inverters.

Relevant solar installation or maintenance experience is preferred.

Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply, depending on company requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
