Job Summary

We are seeking a technically proficient Accounts Manager with comprehensive experience in bank reconciliations, GST compliance, end-to-end purchase accounting, and statutory audit control. In this role, you will oversee core financial workflows, maintain stringent procurement control, ensure timely tax filings, and drive seamless audit operations for Jivan Plastics.

Key Responsibilities

- Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) & Cash Management:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across all operational bank accounts to ensure zero variance between books and bank statements.
- Identify, track, and resolve unmatched transactions, unpresented checks, bank charges, auto-debits, and unexpected ledger discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain precise cash flow tracking to prevent overdrafts, optimize interest yields, and support working capital management.
- GST Compliance, Returns & Filing:
- Oversee end-to-end GST operations, ensuring timely filing of GSTR-1 (outward supplies), GSTR-3B (summary returns), and annual returns (GSTR-9/9C).
- Conduct rigorous monthly GSTR-2B / GSTR-2A vs Purchase Register reconciliations to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and prevent tax leakage.
- Handle e-Way bill generation, e-invoicing compliance, GST liability working calculations, and direct communication with GST officers for notices or assessments.
- Purchase & Accounts Payable (AP) Operations:
- Manage end-to-end purchase accounting, including Purchase Order (PO) matching, Goods Receipt Note (GRN) verification, vendor invoice processing, and debit/credit note adjustments.
- Conduct vendor ledger reconciliations, maintain vendor payment schedules,



and optimize payment cycles while negotiating favorable credit terms.
- Oversee TDS/TCS deduction at source on vendor payments under applicable Income Tax sections (e.g., Section 194Q, 194C, 194J) and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 26Q).
- Internal, Statutory & Tax Audits:
- Act as the lead anchor for all annual statutory audits, tax audits (Form 3CD), internal audits, and stock/inventory audits.
- Prepare detailed audit schedules, trial balance breakdowns, variance analyses, and supporting document bundles for external auditors.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory books of accounts, GAAP/Ind AS guidelines, and internal financial controls to address audit queries efficiently.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance..
- Experience: 10+ years in core accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role overseeing purchase ledgers, taxation, and bank reconciliations within a manufacturing setup.
- Technical Software Skills:
- Advanced command of Tally Prime.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, and audit trial tools).
- Direct hands-on experience using the official GST Portal and e-Way Bill/e-Invoicing Portals.
- Domain Expertise:
- Deep understanding of GST rules (ITC claims, reverse charge mechanism, blocked credits under Section 17(5)).
- In-depth knowledge of TDS rules and vendor payment compliance.
- Strong foundation in BRS compilation, inventory valuation, and audit documentation standards.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
