Job Description: Packaging Development & Procurement Executive

Executive Role Summary We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Packaging Development & Procurement Executive with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience. This hybrid role requires an individual who can seamlessly manage the technical lifecycle of packaging development—from creating dielines and testing structures—to the commercial side of vendor sourcing, negotiation, and raw material procurement. The ideal candidate ensures our packaging is structurally sound, cost-effective, visually striking, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities Packaging Development & Design Support: Develop structural packaging concepts, coordinate dielines, and verify print-ready files (Pantone matching, bleeding, and text alignment) with design agencies. Material Selection & Testing: Evaluate and select raw materials (corrugated boxes, mono-cartons, adaptable laminates, rigid plastics) based on product safety, shelf-life, and transit durability. Conduct drop tests and burst tests for sample validation.

Vendor Identification & Procurement: Research, identify, and onboard reliable packaging manufacturers. Issue RFQs (Request for Quotes)



and handle daily procurement activities for packaging materials. Cost Negotiation & Optimization: Analyze cost breakdowns of raw materials (paper board rates, conversion costs) to negotiate competitive pricing, credit terms, and low Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs).

Quality Assurance & Timelines: Supervise first-production runs at vendor sites if required. Track supply timelines to ensure zero downtime in manufacturing operations due to packaging shortages. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Degree/Diploma in Packaging Technology (e.g., IIP), Printing Engineering, or a related technical/design field.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of active experience handling both packaging development and sourcing/procurement. Software & Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or AutoCAD/ArtiosCAD (for structural dieline reviews). Working knowledge of ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) for purchase order creation.

Core Competencies: Strong understanding of printing processes (Offset, Flexo, Gravure), material economics, sharp negotiation skills, and clear cross-functional communication.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
