Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head – IT to lead the organization's IT strategy, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives. The role will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations across the corporate office, project sites, and business functions, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead IT operations, technology planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve business efficiency.

2. ERP & Business Applications

- Oversee implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems used for real estate operations.
- Ensure effective integration of ERP with Finance, Accounts, Procurement, HR, Sales, CRM, and Project Management functions.
- Manage applications related to project costing, budgeting, billing, inventory, vendor management, and customer relationship management.
- Coordinate with software vendors and consultants for implementation, customisation, upgrades, and support.

3. IT Infrastructure & Operations

- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud platforms, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, hardware, email systems, and communication networks.




- Ensure reliable IT connectivity and support across corporate offices and project sites.
- Oversee CCTV, access control, video conferencing, meeting-room technology, and other relevant technology systems in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Establish IT service standards and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

4. Cybersecurity & Data Management

- Implement cybersecurity policies, access controls, data protection measures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular data backups, business continuity planning, and system recovery readiness.
- Monitor security risks and protect company information, financial data, project records, and customer information.
- Ensure appropriate IT compliance, software licensing, and information security practices.

5. Digital Transformation & Automation

- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting through technology.
- Introduce dashboards, analytics, and management information systems (MIS) for better decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to real estate development, construction, and property management.

6. Vendor & Budget Management

- Manage IT vendors, service providers, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs),



and software licensing.
- Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and optimise IT expenditure.
- Plan and monitor IT budgets, procurement, hardware replacement, and technology upgrades.

7. Team Management & User Support

- Lead and develop the IT team and establish explicit service standards.
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Projects, and other departments to understand technology requirements.
- Conduct user training and promote effective adoption of IT systems.
- Report IT performance, risks, costs, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- 10–15+ years of overall IT experience, including significant experience in IT leadership or management.
- Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or property development is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing ERP systems, enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology vendors.
- Experience supporting multiple offices, project sites, or geographically distributed operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, vendor-management, and problem-solving skills.
