JOB DESCRIPTION – SPEECH THERAPIST

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist to assess and treat patients with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing difficulties. The candidate will work closely with doctors and other rehabilitation professionals to support patients in improving their communication skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop individualized therapy plans according to each patient's needs and abilities.
- Provide speech therapy for stroke patients and individuals with neurological disorders.
- Support patients with speech and language delays, autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental conditions.
- Conduct regular therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain patient records, assessment reports, and treatment documentation.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers about home-based therapy exercises.




- Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and a secure therapy environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid professional registration or certification, as applicable under current regulations.
- Experience in stroke rehabilitation and neurological speech disorders will be an advantage.
- Freshers with the required qualifications may also apply.
