About Sampoorna Yoga

Sampoorna Yoga is an established international yoga education and retreat centre located in beautiful Agonda, South Goa. We welcome students and guests from around the world and offer a peaceful, friendly and multicultural working environment.

We are looking for a mature, experienced, responsible and hands-on Housekeeping Manager, preferably with a strong background in housekeeping operations at reputed 4-star or 5-star hotels.

The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of housekeeping standards across our two properties.

Our Facilities

Our two properties together include:

- 78 guest rooms
- 6 yoga shalas
- 10+ common toilets and bathrooms
- 2 gyms
- 3 dining areas
- 1 swimming pool
- Reception areas, gardens, walkways and other common spaces

We are looking for someone who can maintain professional hotel-level cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards throughout these facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, train and motivate the housekeeping team across both properties.
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, organisation and guest comfort.
- Develop, implement and maintain professional housekeeping SOPs, cleaning schedules, checklists and inspection systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, yoga shalas, gyms, dining areas and common spaces.
- Ensure timely room readiness for guest check-ins and efficient cleaning following check-outs.
- Supervise laundry, linen management, housekeeping inventory, cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate closely with reception, maintenance, kitchen and management teams.
- Identify problems proactively and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain discipline, accountability and teamwork while treating all staff with kindness and respect.
- Take full responsibility for the overall housekeeping standards of both properties.

Qualifications & Experience

- Preferably 5+ years of professional housekeeping experience, ideally in a reputed 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor,



Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
- Hotel Management qualification or relevant professional hospitality training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of professional housekeeping procedures, hygiene standards, room inspections and staff management.
- Experience creating and implementing housekeeping SOPs and operational checklists.
- Good communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow management directions and take responsibility for results.
- Comfortable working with an international guest community.

Working Hours

This is a full-time, hands-on position requiring flexibility according to operational needs.

- Working days may involve approximately 10 hours, including meal and rest breaks.
- There is no rigid corporate-style shift structure.
- Early mornings, weekends and busy check-in/check-out periods may require schedule adjustments.
- Weekly rest days, breaks and working arrangements will follow applicable labour requirements.
