Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop refrigeration systems, components, and assemblies for HVAC&R; products.
• Perform refrigeration cycle calculations, load analysis, and system performance evaluations.
• Select and size compressors, heat exchangers, expansion devices, refrigerants, and other system components.
• Create and modify 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools.
• Conduct design validation through simulations, testing, and prototype evaluations.
• Analyze system performance,



energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality functions during product development.
• Support product design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASHRAE, AHRI, UL, ISO, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in new product development, value engineering, and cost reduction projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in refrigeration system design, HVAC, or thermal product development.
• Strong understanding of:
• Refrigeration Cycles
• Thermodynamics
• Heat Transfer
• Fluid Mechanics
• Psychrometrics

• Experience in refrigeration component
