Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to implement, maintain, and support IAM solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in directory services, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and access control mechanisms. This role requires a proactive approach to user and account management, troubleshooting IAM-related issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure IAM solutions, including Active Directory (AD), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and MFA systems.
• Manage user identities and access rights, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, and handling service accounts.
• Ensure adherence to secure configuration standards and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents, providing technical support to users as needed.
• Monitor IAM systems for security vulnerabilities and performance issues,



implementing necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Document IAM processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience with Identity Management Lifecycle Management (LCM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, specifically with tools such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Directory Services and multi-factor authentication (MFA) implementations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IAM compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of IAM tasks.
