Role Description The Pharmacist role at MedPlus in Chennai is a full-time, in office position. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. Daily tasks include counseling customers on proper medication use, possible side effects, and dosage instructions,



while maintaining patient confidentiality and high-quality service. The role also involves managing inventory, checking expiry dates, organizing stock, and supporting store operations to ensure smooth workflow. The Pharmacist will collaborate with store staff and management to uphold safety protocols, support health awareness initiatives, and contribute to an efficient, customer-focused pharmacy environment.
Qualifications

• Relevant educational background, such as a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), with valid registration from the appropriate Pharmacy Council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription verification, with a focus on patient safety.
