Job Title – Lead Systems Engineer

The Infrastructure Reliability Engineer position will use automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, operational data, and engineering practices to improve the availability and resiliency of infrastructure services.

The Purpose of This Role

Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations Distributed Compute and Storage organization is looking for an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to help engineer, automate, and improve the reliability of our enterprise infrastructure platforms.
We are a agile team of engineers focused on making infrastructure highly available, resilient, observable, automated, and easy to consume. We partner closely with infrastructure engineering, operations, application, cloud, and technology teams to improve platform reliability while reducing operational complexity through automation.

Key Responsibilities
· Engineer and operate resilient enterprise infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environments.
· Develop automation that improves infrastructure reliability, scalability, supportability, and operational efficiency.
· Automate common operational activities and eliminate repetitive manual processes.
· Build observability capabilities that provide meaningful insight into infrastructure health and service reliability.
· Partner with Compute, Storage, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application Engineering teams to resolve complex infrastructure problems.
· Participate in major incident response and provide engineering expertise during infrastructure service disruptions.
· Conduct post-incident analysis and convert lessons learned into automati
