Responsibilities

The Global tax operates in a Co-Sourcing model and provides comprehensive support in tax specialty areas, including direct tax compliance for Singapore and Malaysia, tax audits, and tax reporting. In a co-sourcing environment, responsibilities include reviewing tax returns, executing compliance processes, and monitoring SOX/Tax control effectiveness.



Proactively reports deviations from standard processes and drives improvements. Collects and provides data to tax agents or consultants from financial systems or other functions, ensuring accuracy through quality checks to validate tax handling of transactions in line with applicable legislation. Conducts in-house reviews of direct tax computations and working papers, shares relevant information with tax agents, and reconciles data. Actively participates in tax projects and addresses issues identified during tax return reviews, alongside providing basic tax consulting support.

• Preparation of withholding tax returns and supporting work papers
• Review of Corporate Income Tax returns for Malaysia and Singapore with moderate complexity in the Co-Sourcing model.
