We are a Latvia-based startup building a finance function that combines accurate accounting, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and practical AI automation.
We are looking for a finance qualified who can personally manage our accounting, configure the systems supporting it and use AI agents to carry out the work more efficiently.
Job Description
You will personally perform and take ownership of our accounting and financial operations, using AI agents to support your work. Your responsibilities will cover daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, closing, financial reporting, cash planning and applicable Latvian tax reporting.
You will personally carry out the complete migration from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, using AI agents to support your work.
You will be responsible for all implementation tasks, from planning and data preparation through configuration, import, validation and go-live. No external implementation partners will be involved. As part of preparing and importing the data, you will review the complete accounting records for the past five years, identify gaps and errors, and reconcile the migrated data to the source records. You must be comfortable both doing the accounting and setting up the accounting system.
AI agents will assist with document processing, transaction preparation, matching, reconciliation and reporting. You will define their tasks, supervise their execution, investigate exceptions and verify their outputs. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the work.
