Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with strong US accounting expertise to join our growing team in Kochi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and effective financial controls.
This role is ideal for a professional who can independently handle accounting operations from transaction recording through month-end and year-end closing and finalization of accounts. The candidate should have a robust understanding of US accounting practices, excellent analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Accounting Operations• Manage the complete accounting cycle, from recording day-to-day financial transactions to the finalization of accounts.
• Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other routine accounting activities.




• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with established accounting procedures.

2. Financial Reporting and Account Finalization• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or unusual balances.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules to support management reviews and decision-making.

3. US Accounting and Compliance• Apply knowledge of US accounting principles and applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
