Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuppam. This role is responsible for providing hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, and related peripherals, including installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supporting printers and basic network connectivity, performing regular backups, and documenting issues and resolutions. The Desktop Support Engineer will interact with end users to understand problems, provide explicit guidance,



and ensure minimal downtime for business operations. The role may also involve coordinating with senior IT staff or vendors for escalated issues and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Hands-on experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting for end-user systems and applications.
• Ability to provide effective Printer Support, including setup, configuration, and basic repair.
• Understanding of backup procedures and basic server interaction is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude when dealing with non-technical users.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuppam, manage multiple support requests, and prioritize tasks effectively.
