Role Overview:
We are looking for a SAM qualified with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAM/ FinOps processes, license compliance and cost optimization of various types of software investments across traditional licenses, cloud spend, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform software license compliance assessments and Effective License Position (ELP) analysis.
• Analyze software deployment/utilization against purchased entitlements and contractual rights.
• Conduct licensing assessments for software publishers such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Autodesk, VMware and other software publishers.
• Identify compliance risks, financial exposure and software cost optimization opportunities and provide remediation recommendations.
• Review purchase documentation, software agreements, contractual clauses and renewal proposals.
• Maintain software entitlements and support SAM data management using SAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, and/ or Snow.
• Support software audits, license reviews and organizational separation activities.
• Provide licensing recommendations and communicate assessment outcomes to stakeholders.
• Assess, Design and Improve SAM/ FinOps/ AIOps processes in line with industry standards such as ISO19770.
