About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled ETL Testing / Data Validation Engineer to support data quality, ETL workflow validation, and end-to-end data testing. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, Python-based test automation skills, and experience validating data movement and transformations across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and end-to-end data movement between source and target systems.
• Perform data reconciliation, database validation, and data integrity checks using SQL.
• Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouse solutions.
• Build Python-based test automation scripts and data comparison frameworks.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and transformation logic.
• Analyze data discrepancies, investigate defects,



and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize SQL queries used for data validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Document test results, defects, and validation outcomes.

Required Skills

✅ Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation
✅ Hands-on experience in ETL testing and data validation
✅ Experience with Python scripting and test automation
✅ Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
✅ Knowledge of ETL tools, data pipelines, and transformation processes
✅ Robust analytical, debugging, and root cause analysis skills
✅ Ability to create test cases and validate business requirements
