About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer who enjoys solving problems, building APIs, and learning how real-world backend systems work. You’ll work with our team to develop and maintain backend services while gaining hands-on experience with Python and API development.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
* Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
* Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
* Handle JSON data, API requests, responses, and error handling.
* Integrate third-party APIs and backend services.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
* Debug issues and help improve application performance.
* Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of Python.
* Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
* Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask.
* Basic SQL and database concepts.
* Understanding of JSON, exception handling, and debugging.
* Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
* Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work independently.
Valuable to Have
* Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
* Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
* Basic understanding of pytest and automated testing.
* Personal projects or contributions on GitHub.
