Reporting To OCM Director ABOUT THE ROLE The OCM Manager will lead organisational change management activities supporting the Mainframe Exit programme within Overall Governance. The role will drive stakeholder engagement, change-impact assessment, business readiness, communications, adoption planning and transition support across modernisation, migration, cutover, deployment and decommissioning-related change. Working with the OCM Director, programme leadership, PMO, architects, delivery teams and stakeholders, the role will coordinate change execution and help minimise business disruption. Change Strategy Impact Assessment Business Readiness Stakeholder Engagement Adoption & Metrics OCM Strategy & Delivery Lead end-to-end change management activities across the Mainframe Exit programme under the direction of the OCM Director. Develop and execute OCM strategies, communication plans, stakeholder-engagement plans and adoption roadmaps. Coordinate OCM delivery across modernisation, migration, transition, cutover, deployment and decommissioning milestones. Change Impact & Business Readiness Conduct organisational change-impact assessments and readiness assessments across affected business and technology stakeholders. Drive business-readiness activities supporting migrations, cutovers, deployments and decommissioning events. Develop mitigation actions for identified impacts and track readiness evidence through agreed governance forums. Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment Manage stakeholder analysis, engagement planning and business-alignment activities. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder forums and change-champion networks. Work with programme leadership, PMO, architects, delivery teams and business stakeholders to maintain alignment. Communications & Leadership Reporting Develop executive communications, leadership briefings, town halls, FAQs, newsletters and programme updates.



Ensure consistent messaging across Cognizant, and delivery teams. Partner with PMO and governance teams to provide change-status reporting and leadership dashboards. Learning, Adoption & Change Effectiveness Coordinate training-needs analysis and user-adoption initiatives. Monitor adoption metrics, stakeholder feedback and change-effectiveness measures. Use evidence from readiness and feedback activities to update engagement, communication and adoption actions. Change Risk, Dependency & Cutover Support Track and manage change-related risks, issues, dependencies and escalations. Coordinate change inputs for transition readiness, migration, deployment and cutover communications. Escalate unresolved stakeholder, readiness, training or adoption concerns through the agreed governance route. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Organisational Change Management Experience in organisational change management, business transformation, communications, PMO or transformation consulting. Experience delivering change management for large technology transformation programmes. Practical capability in change-impact assessment, business readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption enablement and resistance management. Communications & Engagement Robust executive communications, communication planning, stakeholder engagement and workshop-facilitation skills. Ability to prepare leadership presentations, business communications and programme updates. Ability to coordinate change-champion or stakeholder networks across distributed teams. Governance & Programme Delivery Experience with programme governance, RAID management, transition readiness, dependency management and status reporting.



Ability to work with programme leadership, PMO, architects, delivery teams and senior business stakeholders. Experience supporting complex transition, migration, modernisation or legacy-transformation initiatives. TOOLS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft 365. Use programme-approved repositories and reporting channels to maintain change plans, stakeholder records, communication artefacts, readiness evidence and status updates. PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AREAS The role is explicitly mapped to Overall Governance, Day 1, Consulting, India1 and Grade M. Mainframe Exit Consulting participation is described as covering governance, architecture, modernisation leadership, OCM, risk/PMO and senior delivery orchestration. App Group 3 is described as a 15-application legacy mainframe portfolio supporting Copper, fixed-line, billing, credit- management and reporting functions, with a delivery approach covering discovery/KT, AWS-aligned refactor, migration, cutover and stabilisation. Teams discussions identify consideration of OCM impacts for interfaces and place the OCM Manager alongside a Change & Communications Analyst in Overall Governance. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Telecommunications industry experience. Experience in mainframe modernisation, legacy-platform exit, cloud transformation or technology migration programmes. Experience working with distributed global delivery teams and senior executive stakeholders. Professional OCM or change-management certification is desirable PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & SOFT SKILLS Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong influencing, stakeholder-management and facilitation capability. Executive presence and presentation skills appropriate for programme governance forums. Structured and evidence-led, with disciplined follow-through on impacts, readiness, risks and adoption actions. Proactive ownership and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
