SARAS AI Institute is an AI-exclusive, fully online, degree-granting institution. Our programs run from foundation certificates through MS degrees, for learners in 20+ countries. We started in 2023 with 25+ learners. Today we have thousands, and our mission is to change 1 million lives with AI education by 2030.

The role

This is a hiring role. It is not an HR generalist role. Your job is to get the right people into SARAS, fast. You’ll own recruitment end to end, from the brief to the joining date, and you’ll do most of it yourself.
The rest of HR at SARAS runs on automation. That leaves you free to spend your time on what matters most to us right now: closing outstanding hires.

You’ll be measured on hires closed, quality of hire and speed. Activity doesn’t count.

What you’ll do

Close hires
• Run the full cycle for roles across academics and faculty, technology, sales, marketing and student success: briefing, sourcing, screening, assessment, closing and offer negotiation.




• Close senior and niche roles, including PhD and industry-practitioner faculty.
• Agree hiring timelines with every business leader and hold both sides to them.

Build the pipeline
• Source directly through LinkedIn, referrals, communities and campus channels before turning to agencies.
• Build talent networks in India, and in the US and international markets as we grow.
• Keep a warm bench of candidates for roles we know are coming.

Run it on data
• Own the ATS and keep the pipeline visible on one dashboard.
• Track time-to-hire, offer-acceptance rate, source mix and cost per hire.
• Use AI tools to source, screen and schedule faster.
• Manage the few agencies we use on speed, cost and quality.

Candidate experience
• Give every candidate, hired or not, a quick, clear and respectful process.
• Sell SARAS well: the mission, the stage and the opportunity.
