About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to build reliable data pipelines and turn data from multiple sources into clean, structured datasets for reporting, analytics and business decisions.
You’ll work with business and technical teams to automate data workflows, improve data quality and maintain scalable data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across databases, APIs and business applications.
• Use Python and SQL to extract, transform and validate data.
• Develop data models and maintain cloud data warehouses.
• Automate recurring data processes and reduce manual reporting work.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures and improve reliability.
• Implement checks for data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Work with analysts to prepare datasets for dashboards and reporting.
• Document data sources, transformations and workflows.

What We’re Looking For




• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on Python experience for data processing and automation.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with a data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or Azure Synapse.
• Understanding of data modelling, relational databases and Git.
• Robust problem-solving skills and clear communication.

Good to Have
• Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow or similar tools.
• Exposure to Spark, PySpark or Databricks.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Experience integrating CRM, ecommerce, marketing or finance data.
