Walking Ferns is Hiring Facilitators ? Share Your Passion for Learning with Us.

Do you love learning and being around children? If you believe children learn best when they are free to explore, question, create, and discover, we’d love to hear from you.

Through Walking Ferns, we have been curating study tours, camps, and workshops in active partnership with parents—creating vibrant learning experiences for both school-going and homeschooled children. Now, we are opening our first permanent learning center: ‘Kuttinaad’ near Kakkodi, Kozhikode

About Kuttinaad: It’s an environment designed for children to bond, play, understand nature, soil, and climate, and learn life lessons through experience. Beyond traditional classrooms, our activities focus on play, environmental observation, and hands-on science experiments. We aren't preparing kids for exam papers—we are preparing them to understand how the world works and live joyful, meaningful lives.

Weekly Schedule (5 Days/Week):
• 3 Days: Facilitate weekly sessions directly with the children on-site.
• 2 Days: Record observations, assess progress, and co-design future learning experiences with the team. (Initially, starting with weekends with a transition to full time/weekdays is also possible.)

•

Key Highlights:
• No specific qualifications or prior experience required: We’ll train and support you as you learn alongside the children.
• Direct Mentorship: You will be trained directly by Gautham, founder of Walking Ferns and a leading voice in Kerala’s alternative education movement through Sarang.
• Location & Travel: Based initially at Kuttinaad (Kakkodi, Kozhikode). As we expand with upcoming centers near Chalakudy and Trivandrum, facilitators may have the opportunity to travel between these centers.
