Role Overview

We are seeking a tech-forward finance leader to serve as AVP – Accounts, driving our end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), global disbursements, and vendor-related statutory compliance operations. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will oversee invoice processing, payment workflows, and tax compliance (GST/TDS) while serving as an active promoter of AI-driven finance operations. The ideal candidate combines strong foundational accounting knowledge leveraging modern generative AI and automated workflows to eliminate manual friction, reduce processing cycles, and enforce strict controls.

Key Responsibilities

• AP & Disbursement Governance: Lead end-to-end vendor invoicing, 3-way matching systems, payment approvals, and international banking payment runs in alignment with internal treasury policies.
• Automation Implementation: Drive the invoice processing platforms,



smart workflow tools to automate invoice indexing, approval routing, and exception flagging.
• Statutory & Vendor Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to TDS (under Income Tax Act) and GST frameworks (RCM applicability, automated GSTR-2B ITC reconciliations) across all AP transactions.
• Fraud & Anomaly Detection: Utilize up-to-date AI capabilities and automated analytics tools to detect duplicate payments, unusual vendor billing patterns, and ledger discrepancies proactively.
• Vendor & Ledger Reconciliation: Oversee periodic multi-currency vendor ledger reconciliations, dispute resolutions, and vendor master data hygiene using automated reconciliation software.
• Month-End & Audit Readiness: Deliver monthly AP aging analysis, accrual entries, and variance reports; serve as lead for AP vouchers during statutory and internal audits.
