Role Overview
The Adjustor is responsible for adjustment and commissioning of elevators and escalators in compliance with Otis safety standards, ensuring timely delivery, quality documentation, and in office technical support.
Key Responsibilities




· Be fully conversant and compliant with Otis EH&S; policies
· Follow safety procedures as per Otis safety standards.
· Ensure adherence to ethics guidelines.
· Understand layout drawings, Field Installation Manual, wiring diagrams and procedures.
· Responsible for adjustment/commissioning of elevators, escalators and travelators as per Otis Field Installation Manual including high-speed gearless units.
· Manage test engineers on multi-unit sites ensuring safe and efficient commissioning
· Provide technical support and upskilling of test engineers.
· Audit test and EN81 compliance handover documentation.
· Liaise with clients during testing on large multi-unit sites and attend Commissioning meetings.
· Take quality readings and ensure seamless handover from New Equipment to Service.
· Support service teams during Quality Operating Period on technical issues.
· Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults and conduct RRCA.
