Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop custom functionalities using Progress 4GL / Open Edge for QAD ERP.
- Build and deploy enhancements and custom programs aligned with business requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Develop reports, batch jobs, and user-defined screens in QAD.
- Assist in data migration efforts during implementations or upgrades.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4-6 years of experience in Progress 4GL / Open Edge development.
- Strong exposure to QAD ERP (SE / EE and Adaptive / Web UI)



modules such as Manufacturing, Finance, and SCM.
- Hands-on experience developing QAD customizations, reports, and user interfaces.
- Familiarity with QADs database structure and application logic.
- Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Exposure to Qxtend, QRF, Platform API, and OOABL concepts.
- Experience with data migration or interface development.
- Basic understanding of functional processes in QAD.
