The Senior Process Engineer Oleochemicals will serve as the technical backbone of a multi-product oleochemical manufacturing facility, owning process design, engineering, and optimization across fat splitting, straight run fatty acid distillation, fractional distillation, glycerine refining, hydrogenation, and allied unit operations. The role blends deep design-office capability (PFDs, P&IDs;, heat & mass balances, equipment sizing) with strong hands-on plant experience operating, troubleshooting, and continuously improving live production units. The ideal candidate combines rigorous process engineering fundamentals with techno-commercial judgement, digital tools proficiency, and a relentless focus on yield, energy, and quality performance. Perform heat & mass balances for both continuous and batch processes. Understand process flow schemes and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for new and existing oleochemical processes. Carry out hydraulic calculations, line sizing,



and pump sizing for current processes based on plant layout and operating parameters. Prepare technical datasheets for pumps, vessels, separators, control valves, structured packing, instruments, and critical equipment including PHEs and shell & tube heat exchangers. Design and rate shell-and-tube heat exchangers, economisers, and final heaters. Engineer vacuum and condensing heat exchangers, including external-pressure buckling checks for vacuum service. Provide hands-on process support across: Fat Splitting, Sweet Water Treatment (Multi-Effect Evaporation), Straight Run Fatty Acid Distillation, Fractional Distillation, Glycerine Distillation Fatty Acid / Oil Hydrogenation Fatty Acid via Fractional Crystallisation and the Soap Plant. Lead steam-consumption reduction and broader utility optimization programs across process units
