Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in retail project execution, preferably on the brand side, to manage store fit-outs, site execution, vendor coordination and project reporting.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with jewellery, lifestyle or premium retail brands and be comfortable with extensive travel and hands-on involvement at project sites. This is a field-oriented, site-based role and not an office-based position.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Project Management: Oversee end-to-end retail store fit-out and execution activities, ensuring quality, timelines and adherence to approved designs.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read, understand and interpret AutoCAD (CAD) drawings and coordinate execution as per approved layouts and specifications.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors and service providers to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.
- Site Supervision: Be physically present at sites during execution, monitor daily progress, resolve on-site issues and ensure work is carried out as per brand standards.
- Travel & Site Visits: Travel to various project locations as required and manage multiple sites based on project timelines.
- Project Reporting: Maintain site progress reports, execution updates, project trackers and other relevant MIS.
- Invoice Processing: Verify vendor invoices against completed work,



quotations and agreed commercial terms, and coordinate for timely processing.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to approved specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, vendors and contractors to ensure timely store launches and handovers.
- Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in a relevant discipline or completion of a relevant vocational / technical course after schooling.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in retail project execution as a Site Engineer, preferably working directly with a retail brand.
- Experience with jewellery, lifestyle or premium retail brands is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with experience exclusively in supermarkets, grocery retail or similar mass-market formats will not be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for reporting, trackers and project documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage site-level challenges and ensure timely execution.
- Willingness to travel extensively and remain physically present at sites during execution.

A hands-on, execution-focused professional who understands premium retail store development, can independently manage vendors and on-site activities, and is comfortable working in a energetic, travel-intensive environment.

Important: This role requires active site supervision and travel. Candidates looking primarily for an office-based role are not suitable for this position.
