AI Program Manager
Location: [Dehradun Onsite]
Shift: Mid Shift (4pm to 1am)
Experience: 6 - 10 years
Department: Product & Technology
Reports to: AVP / Head of AI & Product
About the Role
We are looking for an AI Program Manager to manage a portfolio of 2025 concurrent AI, automation, and technology initiatives.
This is a high-ownership execution role in a fast-moving, AI-first product setting. The Program Manager will coordinate Product, Engineering, AI, QA, UX, and Business teams, ensuring projects have clear ownership, priorities, timelines, dependencies, resources, and outcomes.
The role will enable product leadership to focus more on product strategy, innovation, and business outcomes, while the Program Manager drives execution across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day execution across 2025 concurrent initiatives.
Maintain visibility of scope, timelines, owners, dependencies, risks, blockers, and status.
Coordinate across Product, Engineering, AI/ML, QA, UX, and Business teams.
Establish milestones, priorities, delivery checkpoints, and review cadences.
Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Track requirements, specifications, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-launch activities.
Maintain program dashboards and provide concise, decision-oriented updates to leadership.
Ensure action items have clear owners and deadlines and drive them to closure.
Help prioritize competing initiatives based on business impact, urgency, effort, and available resources.
Own resource and capacity planning across the program, maintaining a forward-looking view of team capacity, project demand, and upcoming resource requirements.
Forecast resource needs and ensure developers and other team members are aligned to projects, minimizing idle time or gaps between assignments.
Identify upcoming capacity constraints or resource surpluses early and work with leadership to rebalance priorities, assignments, or staffing.
Continuously improve program management processes, reporting, and delivery discipline.
AI-Native Development
Our organization is moving toward an AI-native development model, including AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).
The Program Manager will:
Ensure initiatives follow our evolving AI-DLC and SDD practices.
Drive execution from idea specification development validation testing UAT deployment monitoring.
Ensure specifications, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and milestones are clearly defined.
Help teams adopt structured and AI-assisted development practices while maintaining delivery and quality controls.
Leverage AI tools to improve planning, documentation, reporting, analysis, and execution.
AI / Technology Exposure
The candidate should be comfortable working with projects involving:
Generative AI / LLM applications
AI agents and automation
RAG-based applications
Voice / conversational AI
AI-powered workflow automation
APIs and third-party integrations
Data and analytics
The candidate does not need to be an AI/ML engineer,
but must understand technology and AI product development well enough to communicate effectively with technical teams and identify delivery risks.
What We're Looking For
610 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Operations, Technology Operations, or similar roles.
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects, ideally 15+ and preferably 20+.
Strong experience working with software development and technology teams.
Strong understanding of Agile/Kanban and modern product development practices.
Excellent organization, communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong ownership and ability to independently drive execution.
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, dashboards/reporting tools, or equivalent.
Preferred: Experience managing AI/ML, GenAI, automation, or SaaS projects; exposure to AI-DLC, SDD, or AI-assisted development; and a technical understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and software development.
Success in the Role
Within the first 90 days, the Program Manager should establish a single source of truth for all initiatives and team capacity, create consistent project tracking and review processes, improve visibility of risks and dependencies, and establish reliable resource forecasting to minimize delivery bottlenecks and unallocated developer capacity.
Ideal candidate: Someone who can look at 25 projects and quickly identify what is on track, what is blocked, what needs attention, what resources are required, and what leadership needs to know, without becoming the bottleneck themselves.
