Job Description ServiceNow ITSM Developer

Location: Pune

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, primarily within IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Work on core ITSM modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
- Configure Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Catalog Client Scripts, and approval workflows.
- Work on integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and platform upgrade guidelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable ITSM solutions.




- Support instance upgrades, enhancements, defect resolution, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
- Experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management concepts.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving ServiceNow platform issues.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- ServiceNow CSA certification is preferred; CAD certification would be an added advantage.
- Candidates who can work from the Pune location are preferred.
