Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in frontend and backend testing, PostgreSQL, API testing, and dataflow validation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application functionality, database integrity, report accuracy, and system performance through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform frontend and backend testing to validate application functionality and requirements.
• Conduct PostgreSQL testing, including SQL queries, database integrity checks, and query performance analysis.
• Validate dataflow across systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across ETL processes and distributed systems.
• Verify report accuracy and ensure reports reflect correct and up-to-date database information.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Conduct API performance testing, including load and stress testing.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts for frontend, backend, and API testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.




• Troubleshoot issues and ensure testing activities meet project deadlines.

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in frontend and backend application testing.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL queries.
• Experience with REST API testing and request/response validation.
• Experience with Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Understanding of load testing, stress testing, and performance testing.
• Experience with data validation, dataflow testing, ETL processes, and report consistency.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, New Relic, or Dynatrace.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
