Job Description

We are looking for experienced IP-DRG Medical Coding professionals for the role of Process Coach. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of inpatient DRG coding guidelines, quality standards, and training methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Train new joiners on IP-DRG Medical Coding concepts, coding guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
- Monitor trainee productivity and quality as per the defined OJT and ramp-up targets.
- Provide structured feedback and continuous coaching to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
- Educate trainees on client specifications, coding guidelines, and the latest updates.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to address recurring errors and performance gaps.
- Communicate quality audit feedback effectively and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Track trainee performance and share regular feedback with Team Leads.




- Support Team Leads in evaluating trainee readiness and facilitating timely confirmation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IP-DRG Medical Coding.
- Strong knowledge of inpatient coding guidelines, DRG concepts, and quality requirements.
- Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching medical coders.
- Ability to analyze coding errors and drive improvements in quality and productivity.
- Medical Coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA credentials preferred.
