We are hiring an Investment Banking Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Mumbai. You will support deal execution, financial modeling, and client advisory work across M&A;, capital raising, and other strategic transactions. Role & responsibilities

- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transactions)
- Prepare pitch books, investment memos, and client presentations
- Conduct industry research, company analysis, and market studies
- Support due diligence for M&A; transactions, IPOs, and fundraising deals
- Analyze financial statements and assess company valuations
- Assist senior bankers in structuring and executing deals
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and other stakeholders through online tools
- Track deal timelines, prepare status updates, and manage virtual data rooms
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector developments




- Ensure accuracy and quality in all financial analysis and client deliverables

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 0 to 1 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or related field (internships count)
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and capital markets
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of DCF, LBO, Comps, and M&A; valuation techniques
- Solid analytical, quantitative, and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handle tight deadlines, and manage multiple deals
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
