About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UK Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in UK Accounting, with expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Profit & Loss (P&L;) Management. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting business decision-making through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and external auditors.




- Identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.
- Support tax, VAT, and statutory compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in UK Accounting.
- Solid hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and P&L; Management.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Financial Reporting).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with UK taxation and VAT processes.
- ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification (preferred).
- Experience working with UK-based clients or organizations.
