Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain hospital areas, including patient rooms, OPD, IPD, corridors, washrooms, waiting areas, and the lobby.
- Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of floors, surfaces, furniture, and frequently touched areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the hospital.
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and biomedical waste segregation guidelines.
- Collect and dispose of waste in designated bins as per hospital policy.
- Refill handwash, sanitizers, tissue papers, and other housekeeping supplies.
- Clean spills immediately and place warning signs on wet floors to prevent accidents.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient care areas without disturbing patients or hospital activities.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and materials safely and appropriately.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or shortages of cleaning materials to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Follow the duty roster, assigned cleaning schedules, and instructions from the supervisor.
- Maintain skilled behavior, punctuality, and discipline while on duty.
