Role & responsibilities

- Furnace Equipment Ownership: Oversee end-to-end design modifications, specification setup, vendor selection, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning for sintering, soaking, and induction furnaces across manufacturing sites.
- Process & Temperature Optimization: Utilize advanced PID tuning, thermal imaging, pyrometry, and thermocouple calibration to achieve tight thermal tolerances, energy efficiency, and high yield.
- Preventive & Predictive analysis: Establish protocols, thermal profiling routines,



minimize unplanned downtime and extend furnace campaign life.
- Failure Analysis & CAPA: Lead root cause analysis for furnace failures, coil burnouts, refractory degradation, contamination issues, or thermal runaway events; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with high-voltage electrical safety, high-temperature operation hazards, gas leak detection, pressure vessel standards, and environmental emission guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Facility teams to support production and greenfield/brownfield plant expansions.

Preferred candidate profile

3 - 8 years

Bachelors or master’s degree in Thermal engineering.
