About the Role:

We re looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who understands up-to-date Instagram content - especially fast-paced, engaging, high-retention reels. Your main responsibility will be editing short-form videos that feel native to Instagram trends while maintaining a clean and premium brand identity. If you naturally notice trending edits, hooks, transitions, captions, pacing, memes, sound usage, and viral reel formats before others do - this role is for you.

Responsibilities:
1. Edit high-quality Instagram reels, ads, and short-form content
2. Create scroll-stopping edits with strong hooks and retention-focused pacing
3. Stay updated with current Instagram and short-form video trends
4. Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and trending audio creatively
5. Work closely with the social media and marketing team on content strategy
6. Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with the brand 7. Deliver edits within deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements:
- 1+ year experience in reel editing / short-form content editing
- Strong understanding of Instagram trends and viral content formats
- Proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut / VN / similar fast-editing tools
- Positive sense of timing, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention
- Experience with motion graphics and animated captions is a plus
- Ability to think creatively and suggest content ideas, not just edit
- Understanding of social media algorithms and content performance

- Have edited content for SaaS, tech, AI, startups, or agencies
- Understand contemporary human-first editing styles used by fast-growing brands
- Can create thumbnail concepts and basic design assets
