Role & responsibilities

Identify and qualify current suppliers in India and overseas; run RFQs and techno commercial comparisons.

• Develop vendors through capability audits (SMT, testing, crimping, panel assembly) and PPAP

• Build should-cost models, negotiate price and terms, and deliver cost reduction via VA/VE, alternates and localisation.

• Support R&D; on BOM reviews, DFM and obsolescence; secure supply through alternate sources and shortage management.

• Manage Contracts and compliance Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of PCBA processes, IPC standards, drives, controllers and switchgear; can read schematics, BOMs and Gerbers.

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
