Informatica IDMC Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Informatica IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud) professional to design, develop, implement, and maintain cloud-based data integration and management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with data integration, ETL/ELT development, data transformation, and cloud data platforms.

Primary Skills

- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (IICS) for cloud-based data integration and management.
- Strong experience in Cloud Data Integration (CDI), mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and transformations.
- Experience in developing, testing, and deploying ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, data validation, and performance tuning.
- Experience with data integration between databases, cloud applications, APIs, and data warehouses.
- Knowledge of IDMC components such as Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and related services, as applicable to the project.
- Experience in troubleshooting data integration failures and resolving production issues.
- Understanding of data migration, data quality, and metadata management.

Secondary Skills

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services,



and file-based integrations.
- Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter or other ETL tools.
- Understanding of data governance, data cataloging, and data lineage.
- Experience with scheduling, monitoring, deployment, and version control.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain IDMC-based data integration workflows.
- Build mappings, transformations, taskflows, and reusable integration components.
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into target databases and cloud platforms.
- Perform unit testing, data reconciliation, and validation to ensure data accuracy.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and provide production support as required.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and other technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow development, deployment, and data security standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 512 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering, with relevant hands-on IDMC experience.
- Robust analytical and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
- Willingness to work from any project location across India, as required.
