About the Role

We are looking for a skilled C#/.NET Developer with 58 years of experience in Windows desktop application development and backend services.

The selected candidate will develop a Windows-based game launcher for our DriveHero Driving Simulator project, implementing user authentication, device registration, game installation, version checking, automated updates, file verification, and secure game launching.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a Windows game launcher using C# and .NET.
- Implement user authentication, login/logout, and device authorization.
- Develop game installation, download management, and automatic update functionality.
- Implement version checking and manifest-based file verification using hashes.
- Support resumable downloads, progress tracking, and error handling.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and SQL databases.
- Implement secure game-launching functionality and access control.
- Maintain application logging, debugging, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Unreal Engine development team to integrate the launcher with the DriveHero project.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Robust knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Experience developing Windows desktop applications.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and SQL databases.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, JSON, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Knowledge of file downloads, version control, and Git.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with game launchers or software update systems.
- Knowledge of game patching and hash-based file verification.
- Experience with WPF or Windows Forms.
- Familiarity with JWT/OAuth authentication.
- Basic understanding of Unreal Engine deployment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and CDN integration.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have experience developing production-ready Windows applications and backend services. Candidates with experience in game launchers, software updaters, or deployment systems will be preferred.
