We are looking for dynamic, execution-focused Fleet and Operations Managers to scale our ground operations. In this role, you will lead hyperlocal last-mile delivery teams, manage cold-chain logistics compliance, and optimize day-to-day delivery metrics. This role is ideal for sharp management graduates or young operational professionals eager to build a career in high-growth quick commerce.

Role & responsibilities

- Fleet and Rider Operations: Onboard, train, manage, and retain a high-performing fleet of delivery executives (riders) for daily hyperlocal delivery operations.
- Cold-Chain and Food Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to cold-chain logistics, temperature control, hygienic packaging, and timely delivery protocols tailored for fresh meat and perishable items.
- Delivery Optimization: Track key operational metrics including SLA compliance, Order Fulfillment Rates, First-Mile/Last-Mile turnaround time, cost per delivery, and order accuracy.
- Demand and Supply Balancing: Forecast order surges and optimize fleet allocation across dark stores, processing hubs, and seller nodes to ensure seamless coverage.
- Payouts and Incentives: Supervise rider attendance, cash collection, digital wallet reconciliation, and performance-linked weekly payout structures.
- Partner Coordination: Collaborate with vendor hubs, dark store leads, and customer support teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and delivery escalations in real-time.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local traffic, vehicle documentation,



rider safety norms, and FSSAI transport safety guidelines.

- Tier-1: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune.
- North India: Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Agra, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Amritsar, Dehradun, Varanasi.
- West India: Surat, Indore, Nagpur, Nashik, Bhopal, Vadodara, Rajkot, Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar).
- South India: Kochi, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Madurai, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram.
- East and Central India: Bhubaneswar, Patna, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Cuttack, Raipur.
- Educational Qualification: Any Graduate, B.Tech, or BE in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration. An MBA in Logistics or Operations is preferred.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. Proven track record in managing last-mile delivery fleets within quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, or cold-chain logistics is a plus. Freshers with relevant operational internships are welcome.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of ground operations, rider hiring or retention strategies, route optimization tools, and hyperlocal operations metrics (SLA, TAT, Cost per Delivery).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills to manage large, field-level teams and delivery associates. Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced startup environments.
- Local Advantage: Local language proficiency and familiarity with city geography or routes is a robust advantage.
