We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with 17+ years of overall IT experience and a strong technical background in software development.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing complex IT/software development projects and should have started or worked significantly in a technical role involving Java, .NET, C, or C++.
The candidate should be capable of understanding application architecture, technical challenges, dependencies, and engineering discussions while effectively managing project delivery, stakeholders, risks, resources, and timelines.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 17+ years of overall IT industry experience.
- Extensive experience as a Technical Project Manager / IT Project Manager / Senior Project Manager.
- Strong background in software development and application development projects.
- Hands-on or strong prior technical experience in at least one of the following:
- Java
- .NET / C#
- C
- C++
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing projects involving software engineering, application development, modernization, integration, or enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.
- Experience handling cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand technical designs and communicate effectively with architects and engineering teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise application architecture and system integration.
- Project/program management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or SAFe are an advantage.
